So to Ferris' questions- My plans are to stay under a liege and advise. I don't really wish to strike out on my own currently and don't see myself doing so in the future. I think I'd want to go up to duke but still be under a king as my final goal. On my old server I was one of the leaders but found myself unable to make "pull the trigger" myself without others making the decision. The area I linked largely natural although large amounts of terraforming did happen. I live in the central timezone of the US. To Scrios' questions- Conflicts were almost always solved diplomatically via the servers subreddit or over teamspeak in high tension situations. We would talk out the reasons and defuse the situations, sometimes with gifts. Usually war was too costly and destructive and the cause too small to warrant going to war. While I was there the world erupted into war 3 times however, each time getting more and more violent. Never were we the instigators thankfully and weren't even involved in the first war. I personally was the best diplomat in our nation. The one who "pulled the trigger" in our nation got too heated generally so I was relegated to solve issues. When defending though I led our forces. In general though I dislike war as it usually led to destruction and people leaving the server. War, simply, was almost never worth it. |

Upon becoming a Count, you may branch out into your own territory or continue working up to Duke with your current ruler. Good work on being voted in! I would like to invite you to join me in Perth, in my Duchy of Carrickshire. It's a small duchy, only very recently formed, but already there has been a lot of work done in the area. It's largely extreme hills and snowy biomes, but further south and east there are some planes. here is a map of Hermertia if you've not already seen one:  and here is a close up of Perth:  It's an older map, it doesn't show Carrickshire yet, but here I've outlined Carrickshire on a biome map:  The red area in the south is Carrickshire, and the orange circle is Tremaine, my main city. If you're interested, here are a couple of snaps of Tremaine's castle and the city itself (Sorry I don't have shaders myself):    and if you'd like to see more of the work done in Perth, here is an album we put together using snaps from one of our players who does have shaders: http://imgur.com/a/aonso It's an older album, again, some things have changed, but that is the style of builds in Perth, very rugged, the entire concept of Perth is largely based around Scottish heritage, hence several of the place-names are Gaelic. I'm Scottish too however my King, Scrios III, is American, he just likes Scotland for some reason. I have little doubt there will be more offers on their way to you soon.
