Love this application too! You have my vote as well. I also share a passion for building in swamp and desert biomes (Valtoros is largely desert).

I would like to offer you a home in the Kingdom of Pyrencia. We are one of the newest kingdoms, forged by many hands out of the wilds of the south of hermertia. Still driven by the furnace of expansion, we have a strong sense of community and are very fond of working on builds in groups. While you would have a good deal of autonomy and freedom under me, rest assured i would only be right around the corner should you require assistance, and i am always very active in helping my vassals out.

My people, the pyrencians, are a short lived people. Most of our kind can only live to be about 30-40. While deeply religious, the majority of our race believes the parasitic virus that causes us to be short lived (dont worry it can be passed on, but is incredibly complicated so its not actually contagious) is actually becuase our blood is mixed with that of the gods. In fact, when the virus/blood is removed, we become virtually identical to humans or elves, depending on the family line. (over several generations of course, genetic mutations dont just go away). And while our religion is important to us, one of its teachings is that our gods are ours, and there are others out there for other races and cultures, meaning we are very accepting of other religions, just that conversion doesn't work out that great for us.
A long time ago, my people lived in virtual isolation on the Isle of Shadows, but we were attacked by the Danaan, which caused the first IgnisBlade to lead the remnants of our society to the old world, where we fell into relative isolation again, until the Unraveling occurred. We journeyed to the new world, arriving shortly after a good deal of the Mercurian empire's people did, and then decided to truly join the empire. Eventually, we rose to kingdom hood itself.

Recently, our King Myron was elected Emperor of Hemertia

As always, best of luck in selecting a liege-lord. Make sure you take the time to find a liege that suits you, but i hope to see you on the server soon. Carthi va'nothe!

I would like to extend an offer to become a part of my Kingom, the Kingdom of Valtoros. We are part of the Greater Realm of Valyria (Perth and Dawnstar are included in this). We are a peaceful nation, but we also pride ourselves in being strong warriors.

The main belief is Valtoros is that is Creeperism and has been for a very long time now. We were one of the founding Kingdoms many years ago and have remained consistent for some time now.

My own style is more medieval (dark oak or spruce with stone) and I also build a lot in desert realms. I would really love having another citizen to help build Valtoros into a great Kingdom and to become a Duke alongside me. I do my best to support my vassals in resources and builds if they want to join in a co-build.

Perks to be in Valtoros: you are a part of Valyria as a whole and we are a strong community, vast amounts of resources (minerals) that are used to provide a good start to new citizens and if you need a helping hand, access to large amounts of untouched lands, etc.

I can definitely answer any questions you may have. Have a look at some of the pics below of some of my builds, I can always take more if you are interested! :)

The Kingdom of Valotros has caught my eye, the architecture is wonderful and its culture is captivating. I will wait a bit longer before making my decision, but in the meantime, care to tell me a little about Creeperism? I'd love to learn some more about its origins and significance!

Reinen is a newer dutchy with a lot of room for expansion and progression. So sadly there aren’t many things to show yet.

I’m located in the little red spot in the middle between the blue and yellow so I’m at a good central location and generally close to everyone.

Here’s a quickly put together map of my area closer up with biome breakdown. I have a pretty diverse duchy so really any kind of place you want to build I have save a few select biomes.

You would basically have the freedom to build what you'd like and my resources of course would be open to your use as well. Also, you are by no means stuck there with me. If you wish to work with others on co-builds or explore the world it’s fine with me. Whatever the case you will always have a safe place to rest your head and eat in my lands if needed.

If you have any questions ask away!
I hope to see you in game soon!

Great question, and a very complex one to answer given recent additions to the religion. There are many sects emerging actually, so ours is slightly different than others out there (although arguably the origins of it all).

We did lose a bit of a write up on the religion (explanation of one Creeper god [Siorai], etc.) when there was issues with the site, but I will do my best to give you a bit of a back story and we can definitely discuss more later :).

Clan Craig was in constant conflict with the so called bone people who inhabited the lands that the Clan settlers proclaimed as their own. However, the bone people were not the only concerns for the people of Clan Craig. The Valyrians also had to deal with a large number of creepers that inhabited their lands. The creepers caused constant grief for the clan, blowing up builds frequently and destroying food stores. The Clan would not give up on their land, however, and pressed on, determined to make it their home. Eventually, the Clan was able to light up the area enough to keep the creepers at bay. Finally, the Clan was settling in to their new lands. Little did they know, the bone-people had been keeping a close eye on their situation and were waiting for their chance to push the Clan back into Minerva. Not long after the creeper situation was under control the bone-people started their raids.

During the Great battle with the Bone people (one that ultimately forged Valyria), creepers began swarming the settlement. Unlike for many rising colonies around them, the creepers proved to be an important asset to the people of the Clan. Creepers swarmed the lands with their explosive nature and began to break down the growing numbers of bone people. Having dealt with the immense numbers of creepers for so long the Clan Craig (original family of Kyn and Nao - the brothers that started Valyria) was able to comfortably fend off the hords of creepers, the bone people were not so lucky. Using this as a strategic advantage, the settlers of Clan Craig pushed one last offensive against the bone people, almost completely wiping out the bone people race from the area.

It is believed that the people of Valyria began to worship the creepers out of sheer respect of the raw power and destructive nature of these explosive and terrifying creatures. Since there are still a large number of creepers still roaming the lands, Valyrians build monuments and temples to worship the creeper gods in hopes they too will not feel the wrath of these creepy creatures as the bone people once did. This was the foundation for the beginnings of Creeperism, which is still prominent among the Valyrian culture today.

It is also tradition of the great Kings of Valtoros to search for the "golden creeper" (super creeper) at the end of their life to battle Siorai for a triumphant death.

There is a lot more than this but I hope this gives a bit of a foundation!
