Year 572 A.I.

Following up on rumors by a group of prospector's lone survivor an offical Exploration was send to the west of Alba Longa.

Murlog McDucky stumbled out of the wilderness a two weeks ago. He was extremely dehydrated and starving. For the first few ours not a single word could be gained from him. He refused to leave a spot right in the middle of market square, which was bathed in sunlight at that time of the day. After a while he regained is ability to speech. He started whispering the words "Witches" and "Moonlight" continuesly under his breath. Until now he has refused to leave sunbathed spots or in the night a brightly lit spot in the "Crow's Nest". There he sits all day talks to himself and shrieks everytime the creaking door opens.

To determine wether or not an immediate threat for the population is located West of Alba Longa an Exploration as been sent out to determine the situation and thoroughly cartograph the area. Led by an descandent of our eternal leader, Roglar the Undying, and escorted by Zorra, the witch, they fashioned a Portal to the rough location described by McDucky. Upon arrival they met the local population of Moor-Witches, which could be apeaced with offerings of goat blood and one orphan per year. The Swamp is now open for further usage and exploitation. It's rich on rare flowers, Clay deposits and the shy Xentecas, also known as Slimes.
