Sitting at my desk in my office, I gaze up to the painting of my wife Elizabeth. She was truly beautiful, and though of common birth she met the highest of standards that Kings would put on nobles of the highest birth. She was fair in complexion, hailing from Isenwich, the daughter of a merchant. I often call it love at first sight, though it took more than one meeting for her to fall in love with me. We’ve been married for nearly 10 years now, and every second of it has been pure bliss.
We have three children, Arthur, Karliah, and Charles. They themselves are very beautiful and strong, the perfect children anyone could ask for. Arthur, my eldest my heir, is beginning his education very soon. He will be taught similarly to me, learning how the court works, and also looking into finance, linguistics, business, and history. He is very inquisitive and kind, I can see him growing up to be a great and charitable steward. My second born child, Karliah, is only 4 years old but is full of life, grace, and beauty. She is a spitting image of her mother, with fair skin and fair hair. My youngest child was Charles Raymond, and though only 2 years of age is already a very lively and curious young child.
